The Suzuki Music Institute of Dallas requires that all NEW parents attend a 4-hour parent education course taught by
Ms. Donna. The Parent Education classes are organized into four 60 minute sessions and are typically offered twice a year. This class is included in the One-Time New Family Admission Fee and may be attended multiple times at no extra charge.
Returning parents are more than welcome to attend as well.
Parent Education classes provide practice techniques/strategies, Suzuki philosophy, and inspiration to parents. The class enables parents to effectively support and nurture their children in musical studies.
Class A Saturday, March 23 – 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Class B Saturday, March 30 – 3:00pm – 4:00pm

What if my child enters the program mid-year?
Occasionally an extra session will be offered mid-year if there are sufficient new families.
If your child enters the program mid-year, you will need to register for the next Parent Education Program.
In these interactive classes, you will learn about the Suzuki philosophy, how children learn, ways to identify your child’s best learning style, and more.
Make PRACTICE TIME a PRODUCTIVE time with your child. We will teach you how to make practice time engaging and fun.
Meet Other New Parents! Often, parents develop friendships and a support base during parent training classes that last for years to come. Often, the parents of graduating seniors will say that they met each other years ago in their Parent Education classes.
* This is an Adult Only class. No child care is provided.
